The SNP (Scottish National Party) has decided that schools should have autonomy over kids changing names and pronouns and parents' views are secondary
This is in line with previous policies. For instance, the SNP had a policy which ended up being withdrawn a few years ago where the state would nominate a state employee "responsible" for each child in Scotland (a social worker, teacher, etc.). This person would effectively have operated as a "third parent," who would have had certain decision-making rights over the child in question.
That policy was junked as it turned out to be very unpopular. However, Scottish Nationalists seem to have a very distinct view of the role of the parent versus the role of the state. They seem to believe that parental responsibility gives too much authority to parents and too little authority to the state.

Classic case of someone that has made a bad choice, blaming everyone else and the system. No responsibility taken by you obviously., and not even a balanced view of things. I sure wouldn't want your karma in this life or the next.
Don't you know the story of trans men who dreamed of serving their country in the armed forces being destroyed by Trump? many trans soldiers have won medals for excellent work. and you say trump did right by banning trans from the military? you are a shame! to be trans is to live like a man or a woman. What does this prevent trans people from serving in the armed forces?
YOU SAY THAT IN 10 YEARS THE PERSON WILL REALIZE THAT THEY MADE THE WRONG DECISION IN MAKING THE TRANSITION. SO WHY DID YOU DO IT IF YOU KNEW YOU WILL REPENT IN 10 YEARS? you say being trans is a mental illness, so are you sick?
If you think that being trans is a mental illness, that the whole transition is not enough to solve trans problems, why don't you go back to being a woman? you don't fight for the respect of trans, you're feeding hate
A trans woman should not be prevented from entering women's spaces, they live like women, it doesn't make sense for a trans woman to stay with several men in a shelter. a trans woman can compete with cis women, as long as that trans woman has a hormonal charge compatible with a cis woman. not every trans woman has an advantage over cis women, this must be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
